COURSES

B. Ed. (General course)

The college admits students for the B. Ed. Course in Marathi Medium. Admissions are given through the centralized admission procedure on the basis of merit attained in the common entrance test (CET) conducted by Government of Maharashtra. The timing of the college is from 12 to 5 p.m. The intake capacity for aided division and non-aided division is 100 students for each. The methods offered are Marathi, Hindi, English, Science, Mathematics, History and Geography.

The common Entrance Test is mandatory for securing admissions to the college distribution seats is subject wise. Reservation of seats in different categories is as per the Government. The college is Hindi language minority.

Following four papers in the subject education are compulsory for all students.

  1. Teacher and education in emerging Indian society.
  2. Psychology of teaching and learning.
  3. Foundations of school practices and special fields of education.
  4. Information communication technology and research.

  2. Content – cum – methodology – Hindi
  3. Content – cum – methodology – English

Any two special methods are offered from the above subjects.

  Research & Extensions
   
  Presently, the institution is actively engaged in research and extension activities. The M. Ed. And D. S. M. Students has taken some research work. Financial assistance from the university Grants commission has been given to the faculty members to carry out independent research project
